NCSU Chess Club Spring Showdown

Come join us for the NCSU Spring Showdown! This chess tournament will take place at Talley Student Union, Room 4280 on March 2, 2024.

Event Details:

• Eligibility: 18+ with a USCF Membership
• Sections: Sections will be determined based on rating.
• Round times: 10 am, 1:15 pm, 3:30 pm
• Time Control: G60, d5
• Entry fee: $25, payable by Venmo @Aiden-Bartlett
• Prizes: 50% payout
• Byes: Players are permitted to take one half-point bye. Any subsequent byes will be zero points. Must be requested before Round 1 starts.
